Tetbury is a small town and civil parish within the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England. It lies on the site of an ancient hill fort, on which an Anglo-Saxon monastery was founded. Tetbury Through Time is a unique insight into the illustrious history of this part of the country. Reproduced in full colour, this is an exciting examination of Tetbury, the famous streets and the famous faces, and what they meant to the people of this to.

Transcribed from "The History of the Town and Parish of Tetbury", by Rev. Alfred T. Lee, published in Most, but not all, the extracts also appeared in Volume 1 of Gloucestershire Notes and Queries, published in Tetbury Church. The spire of St Mary the Virgin soars over Tetbury and makes an easy to recognize landmark for miles around. The church is located on the southern edge of town, on a mound that may have been the site of an early Saxon monastery. Below the church mound are remains of an earthwork enclosure and the suggestion of an Iron Age hill fort.
